Day 5 was beautiful scenery on the way and snowboarding with strong wind and low visibility in the mountains:

New Zealand 2012 - Days 3 & 4

Day 3 looked pretty much like day 2 in terms of snowboarding, but with some differences though: Day 4 was quite different - walk to the Shotover River near Arthurs Point: The walk: House in the mountains: Finished the day 4 with some nice NZ wine:

New Zealand 2012 - Day 2

We stayed at the  Shotover Top 10 Holiday Park  that is located here: View Larger Map The place is beautiful and is very convenient if you use own transport. It's easy to get to Coronet Peak by using  NZSki  bus from there or from the Coronet Peak Hotel which is further up the hill. Little issue will be to buy tickets to the  NZSki  bus. Tickets are not sold by  Shotover Top 10 Holiday Park  and you will need to buy it in Queenstown or at the following hotels: Coronet Peak Hotel, Shotover Lodge. Here's the link to mountain bus details:  http://www.nzski.com/guides/2011/queenstown/snowline.jsp It's very convenient even if you travel with children and don't hire a car or don't have your own transport. Some photos of the Shotover Top 10 Holiday Park and view from it: On day 2 I went snowboarding:
